Kamarajar's birthday Party
One morning I was tearing a sheet from the daily-sheet calender and said, to no one in particular,"Oh! today is Kamarajar's Birthday".
After a while sriram, my 4 year old son, asked me shall we go? I was puzzled and asked him where to go?
He replied as a matter of fact that we'll go to Kamarajar's birthday party.
OMG. I really laughed aloud(LOL).
In a retrospective mood i thought and wondered whether Kamaraj did throw birthday parties to his buddies or let them organize a birthday bash for him. No way. Gone are the simpleton souls who can put their personal life aside and can live for country and its folks. Though i am not an altruist, but i strongly believe only selfless souls can enter politics and rule the nation. How wonderful it will be if there is a screening/entrance test for that purpose.
